This is the Futaba S9253 Digital tall Speed Rudder F3C Servo for Gyro
with High-Current Wire Lead and "J" Connector Pre-Installed.
This servo can produce high-current draw from your own batteries.
If making use of NiMH or Li-Po batteries, make sure they are capable
of delivering adequate Amps.

COMMENTARY: S9253 Digital Servo Precautions,
-It is better in order to avoid long leads and Y-harnesses especially with
standard grade cables. If issues are experienced, consider using
heavy duty wire like Futaba's heavy weight Series or Hobbico's
Pro Series ,minimizing lead lengths, and/or eliminating Y-harnesses.
-Current Drain: Futaba S9253 Servo is specially designed for high-
torque and high-speed, consequently quite high present drain is
normal at startup. For ultimate performance when using this servo,
please review the next points.
(1) Always utilize a 4.8V NiCd w/gyro. Dry cells are ranked at 1.5V
each making the overall voltage 6.0V which will harm the gyro.
(2) When using systems aided by the battery pack fail safe function it has
a higher cut-off voltage setting that will cause shorter
operation time.
(3) When installing the servo please check pushrod linkage to make
sure there is no binding so that you can prevent excessive power
consumption and reduce the life regarding the motor and battery.
Whenever Used With GY501 Gyro:
Switch the GY501 servo frame price function (Frm) from "NOR" to
"tall" to show the performance associated with gyro on fullest.
Setting Method:
(1) Press the GY501 FUNC+ or - key to call the Servo Frame Rate
Setup Screen.
(2) Press the DATA+ or - key to produce "High".
This electronic servo cannot be used with the following * AM *
transmitters while the servo basic signal is: 1310us).
CONQUEST AM, FG Series (T4FG, T5FGK,T6FG, T6FGK, T7FGK), Brand New Terra-
top, T3EGX, T3PGE, T2NL, T2LGX, T2FR, T2PK show.
