The Leichter Panzerspähwagen were some light four-wheel drive armoured cars produced by Nazi Germany from 1935 to 1944. It utilized the conventional sPkw We Horch 801 framework with an angled armoured human body and turret. The rear mounted motor had been a 67 kW (90 hp) Horch 3.5 petrol engine, giving it a road rate of 80 km/h and a cross-country rate of 40 km/h . It had a maximum array of 300 km. Used by the reconnaissance battalions (Aufklärungs-Abteilung) for the Panzer divisions, the kind done sufficiently in countries with good road systems, like those in Western Europe.
