SUKHOI SU-34

The SU-34 is a development of the outstanding air superiority fighter SU-27 Flanker, which joined service because of the Soviet forces towards the later Eighties. Major traits, more advanced than the Flanker, are: high manoeuvrability, an operational array of 4'000 kilometer and a higher payload. This airplane will slowly replace the SU-24 Fencer, currently in service. The SU-34 has a completely redesigned front side area to support a two-seat cockpit with complex electronic devices to accuracy navigate and run the sophisticated air-to-ground missile system.
