The Spitfire is certainly probably the most famous and best known fighter aircraft of World War II. Winning numerous dogfights with this conflict, the airplane was first developed in 1930s. It underwent a continuing development and enhancement of its aerodynamic features including its motor and armament caused it to be last with numerous airforces until following the look for the first jets.
