The F-22 Raptor represents the newest atmosphere superiority fighter currently under construction for the U.S. Air Force. It's going to replace the F-15 Eagles which were in service since the belated seventies. The Raptor design uses the newest motor technologies to reach super-sonic speed without afterburners.
