This small, workable trainer, utilized by pilots to help make the switch from propeller aircraft to jets, had been designed for the Italian air force into the late 50s/early 60s. Simple and tough, incredibly manageable and easy to travel, it soon became among the Italian aeronautical industry’s “best vendors”, enjoying considerable export success. A few versions regarding the MB 326 saw service utilizing the Australian and South African atmosphere forces. Here, as in Italy, it's only already been replaced by more modern aircraft.
