MQ-9 Reaper

The typical Atomics MQ-9 Reaper is considered the most higher level development of the unmanned aircraft effective at remote controlled of autonomous journey. Dimensionally larger than its predecessor, the Predator, it is characterized by an enhanced 950 horsepower turboprop engine, which allows to attain 480 km/h. Perhaps the trip range and the autonomy have already been significantly improved. Developed to meet reconnaissance and attack duties, the Reaper can carry, as a result of the power of its turboprop engine, a much higher payload compared to the MQ-1 Predator relocated by a conventional piston engine. Its difficult points can carry an impressive number of armament: Paveway II laser-guided bombs, JDAM, or over to 14 AGM-114 Hellfire missiles.
