SPITFIRE Mk .IX Free French,D-DAY SERIES - NORMANDY 1944/2014
Following the overwhelming German invasion together with Dunkirk evacuation of Uk and French survived forces in the first times of June 1940, most of the territory of France have been occupied by Axis troops. The French General Charles de Gaulle, through microphones associated with the BBC from London, stimulating national pride, exhorted the French individuals not to ever be demoralized also to consistently resist the occupation of France. Some French soldiers proceeded to fight, doing numerous functions of heroism, up to the battle of Paris in 1944, following the Invasion of Normandy, and the following liberation of France. A few pilots, joined into Squadrons, built with Royal Air Force planes, proceeded to travel and also to fight from British bases. Many of them flew on the helpful and dependable Spitfire Mx IX gained several atmosphere combat victories.
