The Mikoyan MiG-29 Fulcrum is a twin-engine supersonic air-superiority fighter designed during the'70s to counter brand new American planes, particularly McDonnell Douglas F-15. It joined operating into the Soviet Union Air Force into the early 80s. Thanks to its two Klimov RD-33 afterburning turbofan machines, the Fulcrum has the capacity to achieve the maximum rate of Mach 2,2.
