TORNADO IDS EBONY PANTHERS

The Tornado was the result of a collaborative task between three countries (the UK, Germany, and Italy) targeted at developing a bomber in a position to run in TFR (terrain following radar) mode, flying at low degree over uneven landscapes. Despite a number of conditions that were more political than technical, which delayed its implementation, nearly 1000 Tornado IDS planes were built and it switched out become an excellent device doing his thing, both through the Gulf War and in the operations in previous Yugoslavia. Today, about 750 Tornado IDSs remain in solution with the countries associated with the consortium that built them along with Saudi Arabia.
