A-4 E/F/G SKYHAWK

The A-4 owes its origins to a desire expressed by the US Navy for an alternative of A-1 Skyraider. The engineering design genius Ed Heinemann created an excellent lightweight and easy airplane which was pushed into solution on American aircraft carriers in 1956. The E (which 499 were made) and F (that 147 were made) express the first genuine update in airplanes, with a more potent motor, two extra mooring towers for cargo (for an overall total of five) and improved avionics. They certainly were used extensively, sufficient reason for very good results, during Americas war in Vietnam.
