On October 25th, near Agincourt, Henry V's English army, mostly composed of base troops and a little contingent of noble knights, defeated the military of Constable of France Charles d'Albret, a much larger force boasting top hefty cavalry in European countries. The English success was decided by the employment of the Welsh longbow. This tool was user friendly, despite a quick training. It might hit at 200 yards and penetrate the armor of knights.
