Description

Currently after the very first clashes inside war, in 1775, the amount of enlisted soldiers via all Colonies increased dramatically, and additionally they slowly replaced the volunteers. 27 infantry regiments were mustered to the backbone of continental army. The most important battles into the American War of Independence, battled by George Washington's continental military, were those at Saratoga and Yorktown. In 1784, the continental military had been dissolved and consumed into the newborn United States army.
