Description
In 1940, after World War II had broken away, the usa basic staff bought various factories to develop a light multi-purpose car with all-wheel drive. The American Bantam business, Willys Overland, and Ford engine Co. competed with each other.Willys prototype ended up being plumped for, which, after a short run of 1500 cars, went into mass manufacturing at the beginning of 1941 and reached a total production of 640.000 units away from which 277.000 pieces had been created by Ford under a licensing agreement. This shows that the Jeep was the absolute most commonly produced light automobile of the war industry during World War II.
