DUKW BRITISH ROYAL ARMY

This big triple shaft amphibian vehicle was created throughout the 2nd World War for the US armed forces. The goal would be to build a vehicle to produce ammo, meals and materials - stored in the holds of transport ships - to invading troops occupying beachheads on enemy soil soon after landing. The DUKW offered good navigating qualities and might move well off road too, which, coupled with its high load capacity, enabled it to do its logistic part fully. Inside post-war years, it was widely used by USAs allies all how until the 70s, including civil security projects.
