The Opel Blitz medium truck had been used extensively by the German Army on all fronts during World War Two. Several thousand of these were produced. They certainly were also utilized as platforms for anti-aircraft weaponry and tanker, workshop and ambulance variations had been made. Of sturdy construction and simple to maintain, it showcased good off road performance which managed to make it priceless both in the Russian and African campaigns.
