Cobra GT 3.1 Team Edition

Serpent presents the updated 3.1 version of the Cobra GT. The Cobra GT is an extremely popular choice in this course with superb performance and being known as a really durable car too.

Explaining the primary features

New aluminium surprise absorber risers front and rear
The durable machined aluminium shock-risers front and back permit an even more modern angle associated with the shock absorber creating more overall hold and more predictable cornering.

General features / specs


Chassis plate
Chassis plate in 3mm 7075 T6 aluminium, with machined pockets to create flex and or ensure it is lighter. Kick-up angle on front side according the race-rules. Countersunk holes. Slots to find leading and rear suspension system mount correctly. Angled edges to increase stiffness. Start pouches to access flywheel and 2-speed gearbox. Laser engraved Cobra GT logo design.

Bumper
Captured foam bumper set, with wide foam bumper and strong upper and lower bumper-plate.

Chassis stiffeners
Composite stiffener front side and rear, to offer extra tightness, but still enable some flex as needed.

Central disk brake system SRX8
low and centrally put braking system system for low centre of gravity with steel braking system disks, along with steel braking system pads with glued on high friction braking system material

Radio-box
Composite radio package that offers area the lay-down steering servo together with upright placed brake-throttle servo. Enough spacers are provided for proper fitting regarding the servos. Front suspension system
Durable oversized reduced suspension system arms in strong composite nylon. In the reduced part the special down stops screws are installed. The lower shock-mounting pins are guaranteed with a little grub screw from the bottom.

Front anti-roll bar

Tank mounts to chassis on longer composite articles with incorporated plastic buffers to allow some movement and reduce fuel-foaming. The clunk system enables the engine to keep running if the automobile is up-side-down.

Oils and grease
the shock-oil, diff oil plus some grease is supplied to meet up the conventional set-up.
