Italian Quality and Style

Desmosedici is a compound word produced from the Italian for sixteen, "sedici" and also the name of Ducati's trademark desmodromic valve design. The DOHC 16 V4 engine comprises two 90 level L twin components held together in a tubular steel truss-frame, with swing supply and back shock pivots straight attached with engine in a truly initial fashion. The sleek and powerful bicycle was piloted in its debut 2003 MotoGP season by L. Capirossi, previous 125 and 250cc course name owner, and World Superbike Champion T. Bayliss. The GP4 really revealed its material during its 2003 first period, taking 3rd place at Suzuka and winning first at Catalunya. Maintaining equivalent basic framework in 2004, Ducati brushed up sets from the motor to the body in order to make a straight higher performance superbike. As the Desmosedici GP4 had a difficult very first 50 % of the season, it begun to show results towards the end, with L. Capirossi winning 3rd place in round 15. T. Bayliss also took 3rd into the last round, closing Ducati's season on a high-note. Tamiya's beautifully finished display model is a traditional scale representation of the powerful bike, and includes such features as synthetic rubber tires, removable cowlings, and die-cast metal wheels for an ultra-realistic display model.
