Bozian Racing, Peugeot's main satellite group, has chosen the dependable 206 as the 2005 WRC machine. The No. 61 206 WRC of this 2005 opening battle in Monte Carlo had been driven by fan-favorite Didier Auriol, 1994 WRC Champion and triple Monte Carlo Rally champion.
