Tamiya 26517 - 1/48 Panther G Kustrin Finish  [26517]

This completely finished tank model has been painstakingly put together by Tamiya craftsmen, using the advanced of workmanship obviously on display. Realistic detailing includes fully articulated tank treads and distinctive hull form. Includes slanted stripe 3-color camouflage that is not described in installation kit artwork guidelines.

Towards German Panther Ausf.GDeveloped as a countermeasure towards the Soviet T-34, the German Panther tank was created from 1943 until the end of this war and served alongside the Panzer III, IV and Tiger tanks. The Panther tank featured sloped armor, effective 700hp Maybach engine and a turret put far right back in the hull mounting a 75mm L/70 cannon. The primary weapon had been a lot more devastating than its size of 75mm would suggest, because of the big propellant cost and long barrel with a high muzzle velocity.
