1/700 Japanese Light Cruiser Yubari

The light cruiser Yubari had been designed to incorporate the firepower of a 5,500 ton cruiser in a tight 3,100 ton kind and featured many innovations that gave it much attention both in the Japanese Navy and abroad. It had a large flared forecastle as well as two funnels trunked into one, features which continued to influence the style of other Japanese navy vessels. She fought bravely in lots of actions inside Pacific, such as the Battle of Savo Island, but this kit depicts the ship as she appeared in 1944 with extra AA armament.
