1/700 Japanese Destroyer Hatsuyuki
This might be a set up kit for the Hatsuyuki, the 3rd ship for the Fubuki-class of "Special Type" destroyers. Although a revolutionary design, it had been also suffering from a weak hull, a fact demonstrated as soon as the Hatsuyuki's bow had been shorn off by the force of waves during a typhoon in 1935. This event led the Japanese Navy to provide its destroyers strengthening adjustments. The Hatsuyuki proceeded to see action on Battle of Malaya together with Battld of Sunda Strait, which model illustrates the ship using its extra AA armament.
