This rather unusual WWII German AFV featured a fearsome 38cm rocket launcher mounted upon the proven Tiger we chassis, and was created to be used against greatly fortified enemy positions, against which it would fire 1.5m very long, 350kg rocket-powered projectiles. In terms of survivability, too, the Sturmtiger's fighting compartment had been well-equipped, with 15cm of front armor and 8cm on edges. All told, a mere 18 examples had been produced, between August and December 1944; these people were deployed in occupied Poland, and also on German house soil due to the fact conflict ground to its summary.
