During WWII, truly the only heavy tank created by Italy ended up being the P40. The P is short for Pesante, or "heavy" in Italian, and the number 40 for the year of use, 1940. The tank featured bogey-style tires on a lead springtime suspension. The riveted hull construction had been exactly like the earlier Carro Armato M13/40 (Item 32596).
