Tamiya 35337 - 1/35 British Army Airborne soldiers small motorcycle Set  [35337]

This kit includes 4 Uk paratrooper numbers and 2 little folding motorcycle models in 1/35 scale. The motorcycle had been initially developed the British Special Operations Executive (SOE). Between 1942 and 1943, around 3,600 motorcycles had been produced, and had been largely distributed towards 1st and 6th Airborne divisions. Because of their folding apparatus, they could be packed snugly into small containers and air-dropped so that the paratroopers could use them upon landing. These were utilized in the Normandy landings.
