An Unsung Hero
The Hawker Hurricane originated throughout the 1930s as Britain's first low-wing monoplane fighter and is considered a representative RAF fighter of WWII together using the Supermarine Spitfire. Its characteristic fabric-covered back fuselage was rugged and easy to create, therefore the Mk.we variant entered solution from late-1937. Although Hurricanes had been outperformed by the Luftwaffe's Messerschmitt Bf109s, the RAF utilized successful tactics which saw Spitfires engage Bf109s while the Hurricanes went after the bombers. Form British, the Hurricane was also utilized by a great many other nations, including Finland. About 15,000 Hurricanes of all of the types were produced in total and they served with distinction before the end of war.
