Tamiya has released the classic Volkswagen Golf Mk.1, a well-known machine of European touring vehicle race (#47308) in 1/12 M-05 chassis. The Tamiya R/C model faithfully captures the fun and maneuverability for the true to life subject as it occurs the proven M-05 M-chassis platform. The M-05 is a simple to construct FWD (front wheel drive) machine, which allows for plenty of after-market components become outfitted as you develop together with your skill.
This R/C model construction kit illustrates the striking Kamei-sponsored Group 2 VW Golf which made a splash in 1970s touring car racing. The polycarbonate body accurately catches the type of the racing Golf, with wide front fenders and a sporty front side spoiler. Stickers are included to recreate sponsor logos, figures, etc.
M-05: Low Center of Gravity, High End!
The front wheel drive M-05 framework features a lightweight, slim, durable, and easy-assembly semi-monocoque resin framework. Gearbox, engine, battery power, receiver, servo and ESC are put for optimum fat distribution and a low center of gravity. Ground-hugging 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension as well as the 3-piece steering linkage offer stable high-speed cornering. Rushing slick tires feature tire inserts.
