Also referred to as transporters that are utilized by F1 teams today, guy Company's tractor vehicle, the TGX 26.540 6x4 XLX had been granted “The 2008 Truck of the Year.” This award-winning vehicle comes reproduced as a 1/14 scale electric R/C model. The model features a ladder frame framework with aluminum channels, suspension with metal leaf springs and friction dampers, and back axles equipped with differentials. Providing this vehicle with a realistic scale finish are components which function two types of metal-plating and metal transfers to beautifully depict details such as the front grille's emblem. Additionally, the framework features a 3-speed transmission allowing gear shifting while driving via a 4-channel transmitter, utilizing the noise and lighting actions reproduced by the separately offered Multi-Function Control (MFC-01) product.
This version of the MAN TGX is ideal for those minus the time or confidence to use a paint job for their kit, as cab components molded in blue are pre-painted in TAMIYA TS-54 Light Metallic Blue and offered a urethane finish for a beautiful, enduring finish.
