Debuted in 1969 as Nissan's domestic sports car, the first generation Fairlady Z actively participated in engine sports race and showed down its superb performance particularly in rally races. This 1/10 scale R/C construction kit model replicates one rally vehicle, the Datsun 240Z. The distinctive long-nose, short-deck human body silhouette is realistically reproduced with durable polycarbonate. Separate parts for metal-plated front and back bumpers, light instances, and light pods are included to improve scale realism. Also, LEDs are included to depict headlights (white) and taillights (red). Individually available LEDs also can be installed into light pods to further enhance realism.

Evolved Chassis

The bath tub frame for the developed shaft-driven 4WD TT-01 Type-E has its engine and battery close to the ground for reduced center of gravity and optimum stability. Installed on the bathtub framework is a fiberglass strengthened nylon top deck and gear covers improving rigidity, in addition to a 3-piece tie pole providing a smoother steering action. The low center of gravity, great balanced design, 4 wheel double wishbone suspension system system, and front and back differential gears all come together to create exemplary operating capability. Furthermore, racing radial tires with practical tread pattern are installed on black dish wheels.
