The Musashi was the next ship within the Yamato-class, which were the biggest battleships ever built. Completed in 1942, the Musashi took part in several promotions before finally fulfilling her fate at the hands of U.S. Navy aircraft inside Battle of Leyte Gulf. Tamiya's precision-made set up kit model recreates this giant battleship in exquisite detail, including the woman protective anti-aircraft suite of several solitary 25mm cannons in the main deck. This different anti-aircraft armament makes for an appealing comparison using the Yamato.
