Aluminum L-shape piggy back dampers

This 16pcs dampers set is an RC-scale upgrade intended for TRAXXAS MAXX Monster Truck platforms. The kit pairs aluminum alloy damper bodies with piggy back reservoirs and stiffer spring options to change suspension response and damper travel without altering chassis parts.

Construction uses 6061 T6 aluminum for the main bodies, a polished 6mm damper shaft, and interchangeable springs in two coil thicknesses to alter rate. The top spring retainer provides adjustment of preload and effective spring hardness, making the set useful for tuning ride height and mid-speed compliance on MAXX-scale off-road setups.

Installation replaces the stock front and rear shock assemblies and retains the L-shape piggy back reservoir layout to extend oil travel inside the damper body. The damping unit is sealed with a shock-absorb cap to reduce leakage risk and the thicker shaft reduces bending under heavier loads compared with smaller-diameter shafts.

The GPM TXMS125FRL/2 kit provides a direct-replacement, aluminum-bodied piggy back damper option for MAXX platforms where increased shaft strength, adjustable preload, and alternate spring rates are required for tuning suspension behavior on demanding off-road surfaces.
