Trumpeter 01520 - 1/35 - German 3.7cm Flak 43 Flakpanzer IV Ostwind  [TP01520]

The stwind had been the past of some Flakpanzers (anti-aircraft tanks) on the basis of the Panzer IV framework to enter production, albeit in tiny figures. The stwind carried one 3.7cm FlaK43 gun, that has been more effective compared to the less effective 2cm guns of the irbelwind, and in addition needed less area in turret, including just requiring a crew of two (gunner and loader) as opposed to the gunner and two loaders of the quadruple weapons. Like the irbelwind the stwind had a distinctive angular turret, this time around six sided, along with the gun growing from a slot in pointed front of this turret. After studies in July, on 18 August 1944 Ostbau got a contract to produce 100 stwind Is. Fewer than half of those cars is produced the first fifteen of eventual total of forty-three had been completed in December 1944, far too late to possess any effect on the war.
