The FBC (Fighter Bomber China)-1, also called the "Flying Leopard" or JH-7, is a new style of fighting-bomber designed by Xi'an Aircraft design Research Institute and produced in Xian Aircraft Industry Corp. Which made its first on Beijing army parade on Oct. 1, 1999, on PRC's 50th anniversary. In 1999-2000, the PLAAF received about 20 such long-range fighters. With numerous breakthroughs in make method, FBC-1's outstanding benefits are long range, big loading and strong power. It can take the unpleasant to ground, to sea and dogfight. It reaches towards the design demands of active protection. Each FBC-1 comes with 2 Rolls Royce Spay MK 202 engines. In very early 2002, Xian Aircraft completed growth of the JH-7A fighter-bomber, a better content of FBC-1. The prosperity of its development fills the gaps into the industries of Chinese fighting-bomber.
