Trumpeter 02829 - 1/48 C-48C Skytrain Transport Aircraft  [TP02829]

• The Douglas C-48 was the designation directed at 36 Pratt & Whitney driven DC-3s impressed by the USAAF after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. They certainly were a variety of aircraft already in service (28 aircraft) and aircraft nevertheless in production (8 aircraft), and had quite a variety of facilities, including three with only ten seats that were used as staff transports. Another six Pratt & Whitney aircraft had been impressed as C-52s, and two as C-68s.
