In 1997 February, and guided missile destroyer Zhuhai (166) and depot ship Nan Yun(953) had been invited to consult with hawall, Santiago of U.S.A., alcapulco of Mexico, Callao of Peru and el Paso of Chile. The Journey Took 98 days crossing through the east towards west as well as the south to the north globe, cruising over 24000 nautical kilometers. This was a historical occasion since it was the first time that a Chinese navy group visit the U.S.A.
