The Pz.kpfw VI Tiger II Ausf. B "KingTiger" VK4503(H) was probably the most powerful combat tank of World War II. Up to the finish for the war, the Allies couldn't introduce whatever could efficiently counteract it. The Tiger II combined a powerful and effective gun with armor that was practically impervious to virtually any Allied tank or anti-tank weapon. Planning for the Tiger II began as soon as might 1941, a year prior to the Tiger I entered manufacturing. By the fall of 1942/January 1943, developers started work with a brand new heavy tank that could ultimately change the Tiger I. In January 1943, Hitler ordered the brand new Tiger become armed with a long 88mm gun and also 150mm front armor and 80mm part armor.
