STUG III Ausf G joined manufacturing in December of 1942 and stayed in manufacturing until March/April of 1945. It was the most numerous from all Sturmgeschutz III firearms plus some 7893 were made by Alkett (Altmaerkische Kettenfabrik GmbH) and MIAG (Muehlenbau-und-Industrie AG). Manufacturing reached its top whenever in 1944, 4013 Ausf Gs left factories.
