The ECS BB (Ball-Bearing) driveshafts offer a substantial performance gain throughout the standard blade-type driveshafts. The friction involving the driveshaft as well as the outdrive is greatly reduced, which helps to provide a much smoother handling feel, particularly on quick way modifications, particularly chicanes. The paid down friction helps you to increase cornering speeds. The 53mm shafts are ideal to get more open and flowing track designs. They'll offer somewhat less initial steering, but better steering in the middle of the corner, and on power. Upkeep of the bearing driveshafts is important, but quite simple. Build them as you would your normal ECS driveshafts, but with the next addition; we suggest utilizing the Hudy Joint Grease (106213) involving the small bearings plus the outdrives, for a prolonged life of parts.
