50mm ECS drive shaft with brand new thicker and more reliable 2mm pins. The ECS drive shaft equalizes the rate between the drive shaft and wheel. With an original 2-piece joint between the axle and wheel, exactly the same extreme wheel switching angle is divided into two shallower perspectives without joint binding. This means within same cornering rate, the internal wheel won't bind or vibrate. Drive through the corner is more stable, more exact and more straightforward to drive.
With the ECS drive shafts, wheel vibrations and noise are decreased to minimal, steering is increased and cornering speed and smoothness increases noticeable. NOTE: to utilize the ECS drive shafts you need to use leading C-hubs V2 with the larger opening. The C-hubs V2 were included in all T2'008/T3/T4 kits, so owners of the T2, T2'007 and T2R must purchase the C-hubs V2 separately.
It is essential to regularly service the shafts so that you can increase the lifespan and maintain performance. Before use, these steps needs to be followed: 1. construct the ECS drive shaft. 2. utilize #106210 HUDY Graphite Grease to lubricate both drive shaft couplings. 3. utilize medium-grade thread lock (e.g., Loctite 242) on both setscrews. Do not use a lot of threadlock as it might block the drive shaft. 4. Ensure that the ECS drive shaft moves freely.
