The thicker chassis alters the maneuvering faculties of NT1; the increased rigidity improves handling on high-traction surfaces and makes the NT1 more reactive. Another significant benefit is the fact that thicker framework concentrates the extra weight within the lowest CG section of the automobile – into the chassis – which reduces the need to install extra weights to keep the NT1 within fat limitations.
