The NT1 framework was re-designed to fit the newest 2-speed layshaft backside bulkheads within the chassis, for better and more precise placement. An additional 2 holes for new engine mounts had been added for enhanced chassis flex. The chassis offers improved performance in corners and offers great stability. The very narrow chassis increases chassis flex, produces more traction & steering, prevents chassis contact during cornering, and helps to remove the vehicle stopping in mid-corner. The lightweight framework is CNC-machined from premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, strategically machined in low-stress areas to make it because light as you are able to without adversely affecting energy or rigidity. The location in motor features air-flow cut-outs for additional cooling airflow. The external edges of the framework have already been beveled and screw holes are countersunk for a smooth lower area. The framework can accommodate graphite reinforcement inserts or additional balancing loads (front & rear) to tune chassis stiffness, stability, and CG.
Due the nature of the aluminum material and also the machining procedure, it is normal your framework may be somewhat bent into the longitudinal direction.
