Complete components set for assembling 2 large-bore front shock absorbers for XT8. Includes dark blue (difficult) springs. The XT8 shocks are big bore and much longer than standard XB8 shocks hence providing excellent damping characteristics and accommodating the increased suspension downtravel in the XT8.
Shocks are CNC-machined and hard-anodized at XRAYs very own in-house completely robotic hardcoating line, ensuring maximum smoothness in the shock human body and so ultra-free motion associated with pistons. The kit includes three (1.3, 1.4, 1.5mm) pistons, which are mated to heavy-duty 3.5mm shock shafts created from specially hardened steel for smooth shock action. The tops for the shocks function aluminum caps and rubber shoes to stop dust build. The brief plastic boots work very well in contrast to standard full-size shoes, which often tear as time passes. The quick rubber shoes function a particular hard foam protector which ensures that no dust enters the reduced shock construction.
