CNC-machined X12 chassis created from 2.5mm high-grade graphite material with a specially-designed element for low-, medium-, and high-traction tracks. The graphite product is softer than aluminum, enabling the framework to create more traction. The chassis happens to be completely re-designed and re-engineered. To stop the framework from touching the track surface at the front end, the framework ended up being divided in to two pieces: the key chassis and a heightened graphite bumper owner. This design shortens the framework by 14mm and elevates the bumper owner over the track area.
The split framework design minimizes scrub at the front of this framework, allowing for increased steering and more consistent control particularly in high-traction conditions and leads to increased off-power steering.
