This is certainly a stopper which connected to the steering block of YD-2 to limit exorbitant turning angle. Manufactured from compact and lightweight aluminum, the top is coated with difficult alumite to steadfastly keep up smooth suspension system motion even though the stopper interferes with the suspension supply.
